Terms of Service
Last updated: January 1, 2026
Welcome to timsautoglassak.com. By accessing our website or utilizing the services of Tim's Auto Glass, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Agreements & Estimates
All quotes provided by our website, over the phone, or in person are estimates based on the information provided (such as your VIN or vehicle description). While we strive for absolute accuracy using federal databases, the final cost may vary if undisclosed aftermarket modifications, severe rust, or previous improper installations are discovered during the physical inspection.
2. Commercial Fleet Mobile Service
If your business requests commercial mobile service, you agree to provide a safe, legal, and adequately spaced environment for our technicians to perform the work. Due to extreme Alaskan weather, mobile installations require access to a heated garage or covered shelter during winter months to ensure structural urethane adhesive cures correctly. We reserve the right to reschedule mobile appointments if weather conditions compromise safety or installation quality.
3. ADAS Calibration Acknowledgment
Many modern vehicles are equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) cameras mounted to the windshield. By authorizing Tim's Auto Glass to replace your windshield, you acknowledge that these systems may require dynamic or static recalibration to function correctly. We will inform you if calibration is mandated by the manufacturer.
4. Pre-Existing Damage
Tim's Auto Glass is not responsible for pre-existing damage to your vehicle, including but not limited to:
- Rusted or corroded pinch welds that prevent a safe, leak-proof seal.
- Failing window regulators or motors discovered during door glass replacement.
- Torn or degraded interior panels, dashboard plastics, or previously modified moldings.
We will document and notify you of any pre-existing damage prior to beginning work.
5. Insurance Billing
As a courtesy, we can bill your insurance company directly. However, the vehicle owner is ultimately responsible for the total invoice amount. If your insurance company denies the claim or pays less than the invoiced amount, you agree to pay the remaining balance. You must pay any applicable deductible upon completion of the service.
6. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alaska, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
